Dear Friends & Patrons, First of all we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for you continued support during this personally and financially trying year. Due to the economic situation we have experienced some difficulty managing our taxes. As a result, we now owe approximately $10,000 (which is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things). The government has given us a timeline to pay or they will issue a warrant for the money. If they issue a warrant than any available funds we have on that given day will be taken. The money they take will be general funds that we use to pay salaries and buy goods and services. The result of them taking that money will mean that we may not be able to operate. Therefore, we are writing this memo to seek a loan for $10,000. We are able to pay 8% interest over a 12 month period. According to our calculations, the interest paid on this loan would be $438.61. That is not a bad investment. We are also willing to secure the loan with assets from the business if necessary.
