Treatments that last years are less effective that clean water in prevention in countries where water, sanitation and food, Are the real leading health issues.
No treatment given for AIDS should be compounded by the other major epidemic's in the area. HIV is a slow killer compared with Cholera, TB, and many others.
Nutrition and over all health are and should be the front line of medicine.
