Well I guess its overdue so we are trekking back to one of our very favourite gigs, The Clarendon Guesthouse, 68 Lurline Street Katoomba. Our shows here have always been a blast and we are so happy that Julia has to only wander down the road to set up the drums. The last time we played Katoomba was the Blue Mountains Folk Festival and it has taken us this long to recover!! So get your party mode on and join for a night of music and laughter. Don't forget that the guesthouse is a great place to stay and the food is delish so make a big night of it as God knows we will!!!

We had so much fun at nights a few months ago that we really want to tempt fate and do it again. The last gig will certainly go down in history with audience participation taken to new heights. Dancing on stage, (Thanks Roberta and Prue) to table top performing and a strip show!! Can we top that??? Come on down and see what happens. We are so excited to have the hilarious and amazingly talented Jackie Loeb as our special guest. She is our personal favourite cause boy does she make us laugh! We wanted to do an early Sunday show, just like the old days at the Three Weeds in Rozelle, where our audience would regularly drink them out of beer. So come down and lets relive the heyday. We would have been in the States this month but with the economic crisis still in effect we made the decision to delay til 2011. Rest assured...WE ARE COMING!. At this stage our first trip will be July hopefully followed by another visit in Oct. We plan to make time to hang out with all of our great friends who we missed seeing this year. To make it work we really need to lock in some 'anchor' dates so we are asking for your help to make this happen. We really want to play California World Fest again and we think an email blitz might help so please let them know how much you wanna see Bluehouse play and shoot off an email to info@worldfest.net or call them on 530-891-4098. Every little bit helps!!! We are so excited about returning and look forward to a really good catch up. |
