| bluehouse show updates | | | | | | STORIES FROM THE ROAD Ok, lovely ones, this is a quick update from the road. we are currently in Virginia drinking coffee and enjoying some very mild weather while hanging out with some friends we haven't see for 2 years. Last night we played in a bar-b-que restaurant...yep....you heard right. Actually it was lovely and twice a month the restaurant gets purloined by a folk club who bring in artists... But first things first....for the very first time in 16 years we missed a gig on monday night in NYC. Our 5 hour flight from LA to NYC ended up taking 9 hours due to the closure of JFK airport because of storm activity. So by the time we finally got to the gate we realised we weren't going to make it. We actually cried when we made it to the venue only to be told that we had missed our playing time. Two brooklyn Lagers later we met the gorgeous Tara and Mia who talked us all the way out of our depression. How can you stay sad when you are on the lower east side folks. Back on the road today in the Dodge Calibre with the GPS on the way to Philly and we want to give you info on time changes and added shows so read on.....
| | | DVD Update | In the previous email we said that the DVD was available @ www.certifiedguitarplayer.com .At that time it wasn't up on the website but it is now folks. We just completed an Aussie tour with Tommy Emmanuel and officially launched the DVD which went really well and the feedback has been fantastic...It really is a quality product. Covers all the bases and works well as a live cd as well. | | Once again, thanks for all the support and apologies to those great American fans who have written asking if we are playing in their area. Due to time constraints we are not able to get to everyone but hopefully we are playing close enough for you to come out and see us...much love. jacqui & Bern bluehouse | | | | | |
