WAKE IN THE MORNING Uncle Phil The Summit EFC 920 Roosevelt Ave. Enumclaw, WA 98022 360-825-7111   As many of you know for the last several months I have been consumed in recording and producing an album of gospel music that is to be donated to the church where I am a member, The Summit EFC in Enumclaw Washington.  That album entitled Wake In The Morning is now finished, produced, edited, packaged, licensed,  and scheduled for release this coming Sunday September 12, 2010. It includes 19 songs including 5 originals, 15 with vocals and 4 instrumentals.  These were done in a variety of styles including ragtime, blues, bluegrass, traditional, swing, rock, and even a zydeco piece using guitar, banjo, mandolin, and bass guitar all of which were arranged and performed by myself.   The songs include: Early in the Morning, A Whole Lot More, Oh Glory How Happy I Am, Prayer, Lady’s Fancy, Wake In The Morning, My Stories Been Told, I Want The Lord, 23rd Psalm, Whenever You’re Speaking To Me, Buck & Sally, Because of Him, To Precious By far, Dear Hands, Take Care Of My Children, Ragtime wedding March, I’m Pulling My Harp Down, We Are Glad, and When the Saints Go Marching In.
