|  On SEPTEMBER 29, 2010 the new album, "Momentum" will be officially released. In celebration of this event, Centrevol will be hosting an official West Coast release show at the renowned El Cid in Silverlake, CA. Local favorites, Audible Mainframe are scheduled in support with their own blend of live hip-hop and socially conscious soul. Click for complete show details. |  | About the Album
|  Over nine months ago Momentum began its journey, as producer Eric Palmquist (Pseudo Rebels), signed-on to work with the band on its next studio project. Originating from more than thirty song ideas, eventually nine songs rose to the forefront for demoing, from which the final seven-song album was chosen to reach the studio. In April, the band recorded the album's audio foundation at Infrasonic Studios in LA, home to such bands as the Mars Volta. After tracking was completed, Momentum was mixed by Jason Livermore (the Ataris, mxpx) and finally found its way back to Infrasonic where it was mastered by Pete Lyman (Ben Harper, BRMC, Norah Jones). Sonically it is the band's most focused and well-produced project to date, particularly highlighting the energy and melodies audiences have come to love and expect from the band's live presentation.
